In 2019 on the occasion of the ITB Fair in Berlin, the Phoenicians’ Route-Council of Europe Cultural Route launches the Tour Operator Network (the Phoenicians’ Route Tour Operator Alliance), thanks to the collaboration with the OMT-World Tourism Organization, which has created a Core Working Group dedicated to the Phoenicians’ Route since 2016.

Benefits for Tour Operators who are part of the Network.
Participate in a new form of cultural tourism offerings, based on host communities and the sustainable enhancement of cultural, tangible and intangible, natural and identity heritages and the places that hold them, developing a dialogue, through the Phoenicians’ Route, with tourist/cultural destinations.

To this end, Tour Operators will be able to.

-Participate in Capacity Building and Workshop activities, promoted by the Phoenicians’ Route and its associates in various countries and regions
– Participate in Educational Tours – Fam Trip organized by the Phoenicians’ Route and its associates
– Use the logo of the Route certified by the Council of Europe
– Mutual visibility on websites and promotion of travel proposals through the Itinerary’s channels
– Territorial technical assistance, to select service providers, hospitality, etc., to develop tailor made products, to facilitate access to the territories themselves thanks to the support of our associates
– Cooperation at the level of territorial strategies on a local, regional, national and international scale.
