On the occasion of the #ErasmusDays (9–14 October 2023), a meeting between the Phoenicians’ Route and the students of the Hospitality and Reception classes was held on 10 October in Castelvetrano, at the IPSEOA “V. Titone” – Borgo Selinunte campus.
In this European Year of Skills, it is essential to acknowledge the importance of Europe’s cultural diversity and to celebrate the learning opportunities it offers. #ErasmusDays represent an opportunity to discover new cultures, strengthen language and intercultural skills, enhance employability, and embrace the European values of tolerance, respect, and diversity.
The Erasmus programme is one of the EU’s key initiatives and is structured through numerous actions aimed at different categories of beneficiaries. The most well-known activities concern university students and schools, but many other strands are dedicated to research, cooperation between universities and businesses, social organisations, and many other actors within European civil society.
