Spain participates significantly in the Programme of the Council of Europe, with 27 Routes out of a total of 48. Therefore, with the aim of raising awareness of this Programme and bringing it closer to citizens, the Sub-Directorate General for the Management and Coordination of Cultural Heritage of the Spanish Ministry of Culture has organised a photo exhibition entitled ‘Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe in Spain’. This is an open-air exhibition with representative images and information on each Route involving Spain.
The panel dedicated to the Phoenicians’ Route depicts the archaeological site of Doña Blanca Castle, in the municipality of El Puerto de Santa María, a member of our Cultural Route.
The exhibition will be presented on Sunday 1 June at 12:30 pm in the Caixabank Pavilion at the Book Fair in Madrid.
The exhibition will run until 15 June, the closing date of the fair. It is located at the entrance to the Book Fair, through the Puerta de Madrid gate of El Retiro Park, opposite the Casa Árabe.
