Juan Miguel Pajuelo Sáez, Head of the Office for the Development of the Phoenicians’ Route in Spain and member of the International Management Team, participated on May 8–9 in the III Meeting of the Managers of the Council of Europe Cultural Routes in Spain, organized by the Subdirectorate General for the Management and Coordination of Cultural Heritage of the Spanish Ministry of Culture and the Enlarged Partial Agreement on the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, in collaboration with the European Institute of Cultural Routes. The meeting took place at the Altamira Museum in Santillana del Mar, Cantabria (Spain).
Entitled “Mapping European Culture: Collective Projects to Promote a Europe of Citizens”, the meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas on European project development, the potential of Cultural Routes in Latin America, and the theme of European citizenship.
The event represented an important occasion for sharing initiatives, experiences, and activities among Cultural Routes representatives. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the Altamira Museum, a partner of the European Rock Art Trails – Council of Europe Cultural Route.
