2025 Training Academy on the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, Torres Vedras (Portugal) – 11–13 June

In recent days, Sara Ferrari, Vice Director of the Phoenicians’ Route – Cultural Route of the Council of Europe, took part in the 12th Edition of the Training Academy on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, this year dedicated to the theme of ‘Cooperation’, held in #Portugal (Torres Vedras, Arruda dos Vinhos and Vila Franca de Xira), presenting the Erasmus+ project “Next Routes”, which brings together 6 certified Cultural Routes, as a model of best practice.

It was an intense three days of workshops, exchange of good practices, visits and experiences, attended by Council of Europe, national and regional authorities and representatives from the academic world.

We would like to share the words of the new Executive Secretary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe and Director of the European Institute, Dr Rui Gomes: ‘There is no Programme without Routes. There are no Cultural Routes without Cooperation’.

Heartfelt thanks to Emanuela Panke, President of ITER VITIS Les Chemins de La Vigne en Europe, Eleonora Berti, Director of Destination Napoleon, and the staff of the European Institute and the 3 municipalities for their excellent organisation.
