Young Guides rediscover Selinunte – Sunday, October 2, 2016

Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, as part of the National Day of Families at the Museum F@MU, the Comprehensive School “Lombardo Radice – Pappalardo”, organized together with the Archeological Park of Selinunte and Cave di Cusa, and with the sponsorship of the City of Castelvetrano, a morning dedicated to adults and children, at the eastern hill in the Archaeological Park of Selinunte.

It will be a day when the whole family get together in our Park, to enjoy the art of the past, to visit the area in which they live and learn while having fun. The Park will be transformed into a space full of colors, voices, movements, music, where to receive information, play games, create, represent, but also to listen to stories of grandparents who, on the day of their party, will provide some of their own memories of the Archaeological Park of Selinunte.

Activities that benefit all visitors will be held on the morning of October 2 from 9:30 to 12:30 and will be structured as follows:

  • short-term performance on the myth and Greek history, architectural detail of the city of Selinunte and the Temples of the eastern hill with testimonies of grandparents;
  • drawing extemporaneous;
  • archeotrekking between the temples.

At the end of the day will be an exhibition with drawings made in the morning by our little artists, which will remain open to visitors for the next fifteen days.
