{"id":29582,"date":"2019-05-16T11:17:56","date_gmt":"2019-05-16T11:17:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fenici.net\/new2024\/trames-smart-tourism-across-the-mediterranean-sea\/"},"modified":"2019-05-16T11:17:56","modified_gmt":"2019-05-16T11:17:56","slug":"trames-smart-tourism-across-the-mediterranean-sea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fenici.net\/en\/trames-smart-tourism-across-the-mediterranean-sea\/","title":{"rendered":"TRAMES &#8211; smart TouRism Across the MeditErranean Sea"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Eight Smart Ways, seven Intercultural Dialogue Festivals, a video game dedicated to the Phoenicians\u2019 ancient routes: these are the objectives of the TRAMES project, co-financed by the European Union and based on the creation of new tourism routes in five pilot areas in the Mediterranean through innovative promotion strategies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>TRAMES project &#8211; smart TouRism Across the MEditerranean Sea<\/strong> was presented on May 7th, in the beautiful setting of the Certosa di Calci (Pisa).<br \/>Co-financed by the European Union within the COSME Programme, the initiative involves eight partners representing six European nations for the creation of an innovative tourist offer in five pilot areas in the Mediterranean basin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fenici.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Trames-logo-completo-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-6916 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/fenici.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Trames-logo-completo-2-1024x379-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"367\" height=\"137\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 367px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 367\/137;\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>TRAMES is based on the Phoenicians\u2019 Route<\/strong> \u2013 a Route included since 2003 in the Council of Europe\u2019s \u201cCultural Routes\u201d Programme and recognised by the World Tourism Organization since 2016 \u2013 which promotes cultural dialogue through the cultural and archaeological heritage of Mediterranean civilizations following the ancient nautical and maritime routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officially launched this year, on March 26th, the project will end on March 25th 2021 and it provides for the creation of <strong>eight Smart Ways<\/strong> (i.e. routes based on innovative and current topics including sustainability, creative tourism, active involvement of local populations and entrepreneurs) and as many <strong>heritage interpretation centres<\/strong> where local communities will be at the centre of the tourism offer; the organization of an <strong>Intercultural Dialogue Festival<\/strong> circuit with seven events in five different countries; the development of a <strong>video game based on the trade routes of the ancient Mediterranean<\/strong> as a tool to promote the territories involved and their assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the goals of the initiative, as illustrated in the project presentation conference, there are the <strong>revitalization of the EU destinations, and the deseasonalization and the implementation of the sustainability of tourism offers<\/strong>.
