The Phoenicians’ Route in Matera to activate a collaborative project on the theme of Sustainable Tourism.
Antonio Barone, director of the Phoenicians’ Route and Enzo Finicchiaro, responsible for Sustainable Tourism Unit of the Phoenicians’ Route, on the afternoon of September 28, met the director of Matera 2019 Foundation, Paolo Verri. Matera is interested in playing the role of leader of a network of European Capitals of Culture past, present and future, to be included within the Phoenicians’ Route – Cultural Route of the Council of Europe, in order to develop the theme of sustainability as part of the most significant cultural tourism initiatives !!!
