Rotary International bestowed the Paul Harris Fellow on Antonio Barone, Director of the Phoenicians’ Route

Rotary International bestowed the Paul Harris Fellow on Antonio Barone, Director of the Phoenicians’ Route! This is one of the highest honours Rotary can confer. The recipients of this award are people or institutions standing out for their outstanding contributions to communities.

The Rotary Club of Castelvetrano assigned it to Mr. Antonio Barone for his proximity to the Club, for the numerous years of sharing the ideals of Rotary International and for the active collaboration in the full achievement of objectives. For several years, the Phoenicians’ Route has maintained a collaboration agreement with Castelvetrano Rotary Club, which has already led to numerous initiatives and will bring others during the current year.

The award ceremony took place last night on the occasion of the visit of the Governor of the Rotary District 2110 Sicily and Malta, Dott. Alfio Di Costa, to whom the initiatives in the pipeline and the activities of the Phoenicians’ Route were presented, collecting his full consent and support.
