Tuesday, May 7th, took place in Breda, the Netherlands, the II Transnational Project Meeting of the ‘NEXT ROUTES – Upskilling of staff through digital, creative gamification and innovative strategies for the enhancement of EU Cultural Routes’ project, led by the Phoenicians’ Route – Cultural Route of the Council of Europe and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
The meeting, held at the University of Applied Sciences of Breda, host partner, allowed us to take stock of the situation on ongoing activities. The Managers of the Cultural Routes certified by the Council of Europe who participated in the work session presented the results of the working groups developed within their networks, for the co-definition of the training methodology to increase the digital skills of the route staff (WP2).
In addition to the presentation of the results of the activities carried out within WP2, the next steps were discussed, in particular for the development of the gamification toolkit that Mobile Idea will implement and on other aspects of coordination and communication of the project.
Next meeting in Castevetrano, Sicily, headquarters of the Phoenicians’ Route, at the end of November 2024, for the III Transnational Project Meeting and for the International Training on the use of digital resources and to test the alpha version of the gamification toolkit.
