On 30 November and 1 December 2017, the Municipality of Ibiza hosted the II Meeting / Assembly of the Spanish Network of the Phoenicians’ Route, attended by more than twenty mayors, councillors and institutional delegates.
In the splendid Sala Capitolare of the Municipality of Eivissa, the decisions taken at the last General Assembly of the Phoenicians’ Route held in Jaén (Spain) on October 10th were shared and the following topics were discussed:
- Principles of the Faro Convention
- Route governance, exchange of good practices
- Scientific research
- Updating of resources
- International network
- Presentation of the new members of the Spanish Network of the Phoenicians’ Route
- Planning of 2018 events, European Year of Cultural Heritage
On the occasion of FITUR, the International Tourism Fair to be held in Madrid from 17 to 21 January, a presentation of the Spanish Network of the Phoenicians Route will be organized.
