On October 10th, 2017 in Jaén (Andalucia- Spain) will be held the General Assembly 2017, organized in collaboration with the University of Jaén and the Diputación of Jaén.
The event, called X Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue on the Phoenicians’ Route, is held together with a scientific event of great importance, October 9th, dedicated to the world of archeology and ancient history. This meeting follows the kick off meeting held in Beirut on March 22nd 2017 in front of the Lebanese Tourism Minister. For this reason, the event’s subtitle is “From Lebanon to Spain on the Phoenicians’ Route.”
The internal meeting of the Scientific Committee of the Phoenicians’ Route will be held on October 10th at 09.00am at the Zabaleta Building – Salon de Grados (D1). It follows the 2017 General Assembly at 10am, celebrating the XXX Anniversary of the Council of Europe’s Cultural Itineraries Program, in the presence of the Project Coordinator for Cultural Routes, Drs. Eleonora Berti.
Delegations representing the Network members of the International Confederation participate in the General Assembly of the Phoenicians’ Route. In addition to presenting the state of the art of the itinerary, the 2018-2020 program of the activities will also be discussed.
