Intercultural Journeys on the Phoenicians’ Route – Milan, October 11, 2016

The Phoenicians’ Route – Cultural Route of the Council of Europe – in collaboration with NeoArcheologia proposes a meeting for school administrators and teachers of the Primary and Secondary Schools, aimed at presenting proposals for HERITAGE EDUCATION born with the aim to promote the knowledge of cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible, of the territories concerned (Lombardy and Sicily), through innovative educational and new pedagogical methodologies and tourist models.

Specifically Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Chiamamilano – via Laghetto, 2 (MM3 Missori – MM1 San Babila) in Milan, starting from 15.00 we will present in detail a number of teaching and educational proposals for the School Year 2016/2017, including:

  • Intercultural Journeys to the discovery of Cultural Mediterranean Heritage (tangible and intangible) on the Phoenicians’ Route and along the Hannibal Pathway
  • Twinning of schools
  • Adherence to the Mediterranean Network of Schools EDU.NET
  • Campus 100 schools offering only 100 schools to transform the Field Trip in education-training time of 4-5 days duration
  • Museum educational activities and educational workshops of alternating training activities

They will attend the event dr. Antonio Barone (director of the Phoenicians’ Route) and the archaeologist Daniel Bursich (director of NeoArcheologia).
